Well, Janette hasn't as yet given me a bio of herself so I guess I get to write
about her. It's not much but here goes...
Janette has been playing the fiddle in the
San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years or more and is one of the
best ethnic style fiddlers around. She plays everything from, all styles of
Celtic fiddling to Eastern European, Klezmer, and even some Greek tunes.
And we can't forget her wonderful cajun style playing.
She graduated with a degree in music from Sonoma
State University where she was a classmate of Roxannes for a while.
She also plays with the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers
and a Scottish dance band called Wild Rose. Needless to say she is
a great asset to Dockside and I feel privileged to play with both her
and Roxanne.
