Roxanne sang through her early years in school choirs and small vocal ensembles. When she was an adult her aging Italian relatives gave her an accordian for Christmas so she could play the tunes from "the old country" for them. She quickly learned "O Sole Mio" and ended up playing at all the family funerals.

Her first recording gig came a week after she had the instrument. (the recording artists didn't know anyone else who had one).

Over the past ten years she has played with almost everyone in town, and she has appeared on a dizzying aray of recordings of celtic music, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, art rock, folk rock, spoken word, and even a movie soundtrack with another local musician, Tom Waits. (there is a great dearth of accordian players)

She has also performed at a number of festivals and plays regularly at the Napa State Mental Hospital.

She and Janette also host a regular monthly celtic session at one of our local pubs in Sebastopol, Ca.

I must say that we are fortunate to have her with us in Dockside.
