Dear student and/or parent of student,
First of all let me introduce myself.
My name is Chris Carney; I received a Bachelorís Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois in 1970 and have been teaching music in one capacity or another ever since.
My main focus in teaching is to get the student to enjoy the musical experience that you/they have taken on. Music, whether listening or playing, is a wonderful pastime and should be taken on with joy and enthusiasm so letís have some fun learning how to play your instrument.
The monthly tuition cost is $120.00 per month, whether you are at the session or not. I will make every effort to be here for every session. If for some reason I can't make it, you will be notified in time and credited for the time I've missed on the next months bill. The cost of individual lessons is $35.00 per lesson. I can't really do one lesson at a time as it impacts this income too much. However, I will make accommodations when available.
The tuition is to be payed no later than the SECOND session of the month. Most people seem to forget the first lesson so I try to make it easy!
The session time is 30 minutes.
There are four sessions per month. Some months have five weeks. I don't charge extra for those lessons. However, upon occasion (gig or festival...), I may take one of those session days off. I will let you know as soon as I know if that is the case in any certain month.
By signing up for lessons with me, you agree to the terms herein stated.
This is my income and the money is used to pay my bills so please respect me and this payment schedule. Remember, you can always use the mail for payment at the address below...

Venmo has no transfer charge so the price is at $120.00
